  • Yes! I love working with parents and kids. I can work with children as young as 1. I am trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and specialize in helping young children and parents use their relationship with one another to heal from difficult or traumatic experiences such as the loss of a loved one, divorce or separation, or other difficult experiences.

I am also trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and love working with parents to find a parenting and discipline approach that works for them and their child to manage difficult or confusing behaviors and build a strong attachment relationship with one another.

  • Yes! I offer telehealth audio/video sessions on a secure online platform for clients who prefer virtual sessions or have barriers to attending sessions in-person.

If telehealth is not clinically appropriate for your needs I will help connect you to in-person services (either with me, or with another provider if needed) to ensure you’re receiving quality care.

  • Sessions are scheduled for 53 minutes, although some sessions may be shorter or longer depending on your needs and preferences.

  • Your first session following our initial consultation, will be an intake assessment. This will mean I will be asking you some questions about your background and history. I recognize that sharing your personal history with someone new, can feel a little uncomfortable, so I will do my best to take this at your pace and comfort level. The purpose of this is so I can understand the bigger picture of your experience, your current concerns, and your goals and expectations for therapy so I can begin to understand you and co-create a plan to support you.

  • Yes! I have worked with both adults and children for over 6 years. I love working with both! I have experience working with a wide variety of adult presenting challenges including substance use, grief, family stress, situational stress, anxiety, depression, life-transitions, self-esteem, or just a desire to better understand oneself.

  • Yes! I enjoy working with teens. As an adolescent it’s important to be able to talk to someone you trust, and someone you feel understands you, for you, while you’re learning how to navigate the world from a point of view that’s no longer a child’s but not yet an adult’s. I enjoy working with teens who want to improve self-esteem, are dealing with new stressors or changes, or have had a difficult or traumatic experience.
